Krina Königsmann is a German artist whose practice explores the interplay between materiality, perception, and the production of value. She works with found and discarded materials—including mirror fragments, wood scraps, and industrial remnants—which she transforms into sculptural forms. At the center of her work is the question of how materials carry and generate meaning. Königsmann views objects as carriers of temporalities, social attributions, and economic circulations. Through her manipulation, they are stripped of their original function and placed in new contexts. Her practice explores the tension between personal experience and the larger patterns that shape perception and understanding.
