Krina Königsmann is a German interdisciplinary artist whose practice explores the conditions of perception and the reciprocal structure of the gaze. In her work, seeing is not conceived as a neutral or one-directional

act of observation, but as a relational process in which subject and object continually exchange positions. Every act of looking is also one of being seen. Her works make this reciprocity tangible by turning the conditions of seeing into their subject. What first appears as an object of observation becomes a surface of reflection, confronting viewers with their own way of seeing.​​​​​​
